With the final episode of MobLand season 1 further in the rearview mirror every day, fans are unsurprisingly craving more of the Paramount Plus drama.
With a star-studded cast that includes Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and Paddy Considine, all of whom would be set to return in season 2, there's still so much more we still don't know about these characters.

Will there be a MobLand season 2?
This shouldn't really come as a surprise or a sign that fans should worry. The first season has just finished airing, so it will likely be little more time until we hear anything official.
Other shows to land in the top 3 launches in Paramount Plus history are 1923 and Landman, both of which were renewed following their first seasons.
"There are international elements to organised crime", he explained, "which are touched on in season one and the control of drugs and ammunition and weapons and people and all kinds of things that go through Europe and from Africa through to South America, Pakistan and the variable commodities that move around Europe.
Meanwhile, producer David Glasser told in Deadline in March that "there will be" a second season, with the full team returning.
Pierce Brosnan similarly offered up some hope for fans in an interview with MovieWeb:
The only negative sign is that, in May, The Sun reported that MobLand was facing cancellation - however, this report has not been in any way confirmed.

We would certainly expect Tom Hardy to be back as Harry, despite that sticky end for him, as writer Jez Butterworth has confirmed he won't die from his stab wound.
