On June 12, Heather Rae, who is married to Haack's ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, uploaded a brief video on Instagram. The video showed Haack and Heather Rae lounging by the pool and enjoying some champagne. The pair, who co-star on the HGTV competition series, The Flip Off alongside Tarek, opted to wear cheeky black-and-white bikinis and heart-shaped sunglasses. Heather Rae's new Perfect Pink Lippie Gloss was also heavily featured in the video.
Tarek was quick to comment on the post, writing, "PERFECT."
"Love these 2 ladies !!! Most incredible friendship ❤️ congratulations Heather," wrote a commenter.
"I LOVE how you two are doing things together! You both set such a great example to your children. ❤️ Now for the girls vs. Tarek in the flip off ?," shared a different person.
Haack and Tarek, who share two children Taylor and Brayden, finalized their divorce in 2018. Tarek and Heather Rae married in 2021. The couple have a 2-year-old son named Tristan.
During a joint January 2024 interview with Access Hollywood, Heather Rae said she acted as a mediator between Haack and Tarek while filming The Flip Off, which premiered in early 2025. She also said that she is amused by Tarek's dynamic with his ex-wife because they "fight like brother and sister." In addition, she said she and Haack like to tease Tarek.
