(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Thursday brings the return of humid and hot conditions, even though we start off comfortable with 60s locked in. Winds are light this morning with partly cloudy skies, but we will warm up drastically once the sun comes up over the horizon.
Look for highs to aim for the upper 80s as winds continue to flow out of the south between 3 and 8 miles per hour. Our unsettled and summer-like pattern will kick off Thursday as spotty storms develop during the peak heating hours of the day.
Look for rain to start between 3 and 4 PM, with most storm activity peaking between 5 and 7 PM this evening. Showers can linger through this evening and leave behind a few wet spots on the roadways Friday morning.
Friday will be a lot like Thursday, with upper 80s and spotty storms finishing off the work week. We’ll keep this trend going as we head into the weekend with mid- to upper 80s locked in and afternoon storms possible heading into early next week.
Monday will kick off the week with near 90, with storm chances very much present. We’ll dry out gradually, with 90s still likely heading into Wednesday of next week.
Thursday: Partly Cloudy & Very Warm With Spotty Storms. High: 88.
Thursday Night: Partly Cloudy & Comfortable With Lingering Showers. Low: 71.
