1 killed, 4 taken to hospital in early morning I-25 crash near downtown Denver ...Middle East

DENVER (KDVR) -- Interstate 25 northbound is closed Sunday morning near downtown Denver after a deadly crash involving two vehicles, police said.

The crash happened on northbound I-25 and 20th Street, and the northbound lanes are closed at 23rd Street, Denver police said just before 4 a.m. As of 7 a.m. Sunday, the road is still closed according to COtrip.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in an update; four people have been taken to a hospital, three with serious injuries.

Police have not said what caused the crash.
