Breakfast Club restaurant to open in July in Greeley ...Saudi Arabia

Dakota and Michelle Soifer are getting their club ready for all of Greeley to enjoy here soon.

Next month, the Soifers will open the Breakfast Club, a diner with all-day breakfast and lunch.

The name may ring a bell, as the restaurant already has two other Northern Colorado locations: Loveland and Fort Collins. The couple took over as owners at the Loveland location three years ago and the Fort Collins location about two years ago.

“We love the concept and what we’re doing,” Dakota said. “(We) were thinking about where we could grow to, where might be a good fit. It seemed like Greeley would be a great fit.”

Since taking over the building in mid-April, the couple has put in hours of elbow grease to prepare third Breakfast Club location at 2109 9th St., in what used to be El Charro Restaurant.

They plan to open the Greeley location around July 4, Dakota said.

Like the Loveland location, the Greeley location will serve Bloody Marys and mimosas. But unlike either Loveland or Fort Collins, patrons of Greeley’s Breakfast Club will be able to enjoy their food and drinks at the bar or on the patio.

The building is a great size for the overall vision, Dakota said.

Along with drinks, Dakota said the menu will be the same as it is at the other locations. From pancakes and egg dishes to hamburgers, soups and sandwiches, their breakfast and lunch menus will have something to curb any appetite.

“There’s a lot of buzz around town,” Michelle said. “I just have this sense we’re going to hit the ground running.”

People have already pulled into the parking lot to see when they’re opening, she added.

The Soifers have years of experience in the restaurant industry. Michelle started waiting tables as a college student in Boston. She is a Boulder native, and that’s where Dakota opened his first restaurant, Café Aion, 15 years ago.

A native of Maine, Dakota started cooking at his uncle’s restaurant in Connecticut at a young age. From there, he has applied the industry knowledge he picked up at various cooking jobs to get to where he is today. He has lived in Colorado for 25 years.

Michelle took a five-year break from the industry to focus on mothering their children, so the Greeley location is her welcome back.

“I’m excited to get to know the people,” she said. “We’re not from around here per se, and I don’t know much about Greeley, but I’ve heard really great things. (I’ve heard) it’s a pretty tight-knit community.”

The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. For updates, find “Greeley Breakfast Club” on Facebook.

The restaurant will host a hiring event from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 8 and 4-6 p.m. Monday, June 9. Those who are interested are encouraged to bring their resume to the restaurant, where they’ll get to fill out an application and meet with managers.
