IPL 2025 may have come to an end, but the T20 action doesn’t stop. The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) has kicked off with IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans facing Chepauk Super Gillies in the 2nd game of the 2025 season. Domestic stalwarts Baba Aparajith, T Natarajan, Vijay Shankar and R Sai Kishore will all be in action in Coimbatore.
IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans were among the better teams in TNPL last season. They finished second in the league stage but faltered in the playoffs, losing both qualifiers. They will aim to start their campaign well on Friday.
Like Tiruppur, Chepauk Super Gillies also made it to the playoffs last year. However, they too crashed out in the Eliminator.
