Brydon Carse’s recovery
Brydon Carse made some changes to recover rapidly as he switched to narrower boots and also used a custom insole after seeing his injury. Carse also cut a hole in his shoes to land better while bowling and to relieve the pressure.
"For a period of about six to eight weeks, I was on three or four different courses of antibiotics. Eventually the wound was that deep that it ultimately needed a period of time just to heal up and close up. Fingers crossed everything we've done over the last six to eight weeks seems to be working."

Carse’s economy was also above 6, and he also didn’t contribute any runs in the two matches, where he got the opportunity to bat.
