Kristin Cavallari is setting the record straight on her past romance with Craig Conover.
The Hills alum, 38, briefly dated Conover, 36, before he and Paige DeSorbo got serious.
“OK, let’s talk about it,” Cavallari said on the Wednesday, June 4 edition of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “So, Craig and I were friends first, [then] became romantic for two seconds. The second I caught wind of [his relationship with] Paige, I very politely excused myself from the situation.”
When Andy Cohen, 57, asked if there was “overlap in your relationships,” Cavallari noted: “There was a picture of Craig and Paige in New York — I’ll never forget it — and it looked like they were sort of together. That was the first time anyone had seen them. That was the first time I had heard about it. I saw that picture, and I texted him and I said, ‘Hey, let’s just be friends.’”

DeSorbo, 32, and Conover, who stars on Bravo’s Southern Charm, were together for three years until breaking up in December 2024.
Cavallari has previously spoken about Conover on Watch What Happens, telling Cohen in 2023, “I may have been drunk one night and kissed Craig,” and denying that anything romantic happened with his Southern Charm pal Austen Kroll.

Reports swirled in July 2021 that Cavallari was involved in a love triangle with Conover and Kroll.
“I haven’t dated anybody in a few months. These two guys who I have been linked to for the past year are my friends. That’s it,” she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time, adding, “It’s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man.”

Cavallari and the Bravo stars first became friends in 2020 following her divorce from ex-husband Jay Cutler. (She and Cutler, 42, share sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10, and daughter Saylor, 9.)
Following her split from Cutler, Cavallari was romantically linked to comedian Jeff Dye and country singer Chase Rice, and dated TikToker Mark Estes for seven months in 2024.
During the Wednesday episode of her new show, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, Cavallari’s best friend and celebrity hair stylist Justin Anderson revealed that she recently went on a date with Glen Powell.
“You’re partying in Greece and then Glen just came up to Kristin. You guys had a really fun night together,” Anderson said, to which Cavallari responded, “I never f***ed him, just putting that out there.” When Anderson stated that they “dry-humped though,” Cavallari confirmed.

In a subsequent interview with Us Weekly, Cavallari said she hadn’t expected Anderson to reveal the hookup.
“[He] gets me into a lot of trouble, Justin,” she told Us. “I’m going to leave what’s on the show at that. That’s already too much.”
