KANSAS CITY CHIEFS announced the shock signing of Dustin Colquitt at the age of 43 — but just for ONE day only.
The former Super Bowl winner was technically without a club after leaving the Cleveland Browns.

But after staring his career with the Chiefs in 2005, it only felt fitting for him to end it there too.
Boss Andy Reid showed his class by handing Colquitt a contract for one single day.
It meant he officially became a Chief once more, albeit for just 24 hours.
And upon its expiry, Colquitt was then able to retire at the franchise where it all began.
Chiefs fans were thrilled with the heartwarming gesture.
One said: “Congrats Dustin.”
Another declared: “You’ll never meet a nice person, enjoy retirement.”
One noted: “You deserve it Dustin.”
Another added: “Oh I love that.”
Colquitt spent his NFL career playing as a punter and came through the ranks at Tennessee College.
He was selected by the Chiefs in the 2005 Draft in the third round, becoming the 99th overall pick.
Colquitt then spent 14 years with the Kansas side, helping them to Super Bowl glory in 2018 against the San Francisco 49ers.
He left the Chiefs in 2020 for the Pittsburgh Steelers but only managed five games there before penning a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ practice squad.
This allowed the Jacksonville Jaguars to come calling, where he played just once before rejoining the Chiefs in January 2021.
The Atlanta Falcons then signed Colquitt in September 2021, with the Browns then pouncing at the end of the year.
Colquitt played five times for them in the 2021 season before leaving but waited until now to officially bow out from NFL.
