It's Ee saala cup namdu. We’ve done it, and this win is not just for me and the last 18 years, but for all of you. The fans, the people who have supported us." Kohli stated.

Kohli ensured that the RCB skipper also got the opportunity to live the moment and welcomed his skipper on the stage after his speech. When Patidar came forward, Kohli handed him the flowers.
Patidar became the first skipper to lead RCB to glory after 17 years. The skipper also gets the backing of Kohli for the entire season, as when Patidar was announced as the skipper, Kohli requested to back their skipper and received a loud cheer from the crowd as Patidar proved himself.
