Teddi Mellencamp opened up about the new man in her life.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, discussed her love life during the Tuesday, June 3, episode of her “Two Ts In a Pod” podcast, cohosted by Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge.
Mellencamp, who is battling cancer, began by discussing photos that were recently taken of her and a mystery man. The photos were published by multiple outlets earlier on Tuesday, with the reality star acknowledging on the podcast that “some pictures are going to come out” before launching into details.
“I’m dating somebody,” she confirmed. “He’s very kind to me, he’s taking good care of me. He’s nice … he’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids. But he’s also a private person.”

Mellencamp then explained that part of her decision to conceal the man’s name came down to his privacy values. “I asked him, like, ‘Do I even say your name?’ and he’s, like, it’s really whatever you want to do, like, ‘I know you’re a public person.’”
She then noted that when the pair first met, her new flame claimed to not know of Mellencamp’s public profile.
In the photos, published by outlets including Page Six, the man was seen wrapping his arms around Mellencamp as she smiled at the camera and held onto one of his arms.

The new romance comes amid Mellencamp’s ongoing cancer battle. After suffering from melanoma on and off since 2022, she revealed in February that she has stage 4 melanoma after it metastasized to her lungs and brain.
February’s announcement came less than three months after Mellencamp revealed she was divorcing estranged husband Edwin Arroyave after a 13-year marriage. The pair share three children: daughters, Slate, 12, and Dove, 5, as well as son, Cruz, 10.
Despite Mellencamp’s split from Arroyave, 48, the pair have remained close as they coparent their children. The entrepreneur shared via Instagram on February 13 that his wife was in his prayers and included a photo of himself standing at Mellencamp’s hospital bed.
As for Mellencamp’s health, she shared an emotional update with fans via Instagram on May 13. In the update, she got real about regrowing her hair following cancer treatment.
“Lots of messages asking, ‘Why don’t you shave your whole head?’” she captioned a post that showed her hair growing in. “During radiation I lost big patches of hair; those spots aren’t growing hair yet. This is what it looks like when the other hair grows out. So I shave these parts that grow every couple of weeks. I can’t do it every day .”
She added that she isn’t bothered by fans asking her about her hair, “because [she’s] grateful that most days [she’s] feeling better.”
