Will Campbell has locked things in with the New England Patriots.
The former LSU standout offensive lineman, who spent 3 seasons with the Tigers before being taken 4th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, has signed his rookie contract, the Patriots announced on Tuesday. Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, it’s a 4-year deal worth $43.66 million and includes a $28.39 million signing bonus.
The contract is fully guaranteed, according to Rapoport.
Campbell, a Monroe, La. native, was a 4-star recruit when he enrolled at LSU in Jan. 2022. As a true freshman, he was named 2nd-team All-SEC. He developed into one of the country’s top offensive linemen, picking up All-SEC first-team honors in both 2023 and 2024 while also being named a consensus All-American in 2024.
He declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season and eventually was picked No. 4 overall by the Patriots.
New England entered the offseason looking to gain protection for Drake Maye after finishing near the bottom of the league in pass-blocking in 2024. Drafting Campbell in the 1st round was a big piece of the puzzle for the organization, who also signed former 1st-round pick Garrett Bradbury and veteran tackle Morgan Moses to boost its offensive line.
