CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Investigators are seeking any camera footage from homeowners and business owners near the home where a mass shooting broke out early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, during a party at a home on Walnut Acres Drive, located in the Mountain View community of Catawba County.

One man, identified as Shawn Patrick Hood, 58, of Lenoir, died following the shooting. Eleven others were injured, some from gunfire, others hurt while trying to escape the chaos, according to the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
As of Monday afternoon, four people remain hospitalized, and one person is in critical condition. The victims range in age from 16 to 57 years old.
As the investigation continues, detectives are asking for video from the following streets:

The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the identity, arrest, and successful prosecution of the suspects in the mass shooting.
