Clint Black, 63, announced on social media on Sunday, June 1, that that night's concert was canceled due to the singer being "hit with the flu."
"Refund information: Online purchases: No action is required. Refunds will be automatically issued to the original method of payment. Box Office Purchases: Please visit the Helena Civic Center Box Office in person to obtain your refund during regular business hours."
While many fans wish the singer well and hope that he feels better soon, some fans were none too happy about the cancellation, which came just a few hours before the show was to begin.
"Twice in a row? We drove from far away and just found out? Why not sooner notice? Was it due to be to cold in February? Do you think you would’ve thought that out before you booked an event in Helena in February, and if you are really sick, where are you at? Your bus isn’t even here if you were sick in the last town you were at, why didn’t you cancel then and save a lot of us driving many miles and booking hotels? The refund of the tickets is not sufficient," wrote another fan.
A third fan added, "This is a real bummer. Especially after having this pushed to June from February! Hope you feel better soon. Would have appreciated rescheduling, my husband and I have been looking forward to this for months."
According to Concert Archives, Black originally had a slew of performances scheduled in January and February 2025, but they must have been rescheduled because the fans from Helena have referenced this being the second cancellation. The original stop in Helena was set for February 12, whereas on Black's official website, the list of dates for his Back on the Blacktop Tour starts with March 19, with the Helena stop listed for June 1.
