Lindsie Chrisley shared a subtle quote after her father, Todd Chrisley, was released from prison after receiving a presidential pardon.
“See the story of the Lord unfolding,” an anonymous quote read, which Lindsie, 35, shared via her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 1.
Lindsie also linked to prayer group Blessed Is She’s original post.
“When Peter is confronted in the First Reading, he responds with confidence and tells his story, explaining it to them step by step, starting with, ‘I was at prayer.’ (Acts 11:4-5). What follows is a beautiful application of his prayer and confirmation that he was indeed on the right path,” the May 12 caption read. “One can hear the excitement in Peter’s voice come through in his words, and feel the conversion of hearts in the listeners who give praise to God. A confrontation became an opportunity to come together and learn from Peter, to see how he was making his decisions and following the direction of the Lord.”

The message continued, “Like Peter, we all have a story to share. Our stories are evolving and unfolding each moment, and sometimes we aren’t even aware. If we can just pause each day and take a moment to see the story of the Lord unfolding in our midst, we are able to come to a clearer understanding of it all. And that starts with prayer. That must be the beginning of each of our many stories.”
While Lindsie is estranged from her famous family, they have recently been starting a new chapter after Todd, 56, and wife Julie Chrisley were both released from prison following a pardon from President Donald Trump. (Todd and Julie, 52, share kids Chase, Savannah, Grayson and Chloe, who is the biological daughter of Todd’s son Kyle. Both Kyle and Lindsie are Todd’s children from a past relationship.)

Todd and Julie were sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison, respectively. An appeal in 2024 reduced their sentence by two years.

The next year, Trump, 78, issued both Todd and Julie pardons, and they were released from federal custody on Wednesday, May 28.
“I want to thank first and foremost my Lord and savior because that’s who got me through it,” Todd said in a Friday, May 30, press conference held in Nashville. “[Savannah] has fought a long fight and for any parent to see their child fight this hard, it’s a double-edged sword. It’s a blessing, and then your heart breaks because your child has been placed in that position.”
Lindsie previously broke her silence on her parents’ pardon, writing, “With God all things are possible,” via Instagram on Thursday, May 29.
