THE NFL is having issues selling tickets for its London games this year.
It isn’t due to a lack of demand though, but rather a surge of it.

At 8:30 am ET, the NFL UK X account posted a message informing fans that ticket sales were being paused.
“Due to exceptionally high demand for NFL London Games tickets, Ticketmaster has temporarily paused sales to monitor the queue and ensure genuine fans are able to purchase tickets,” the message said.
“Your place in the queue is secure and there are still tickets available. We understand how frustrating this is and appreciate your patience.“
It appears that bots and resellers have entered the queue for tickets, causing a surge of demand for the game.
“Our tech teams spotted bad actors and we are working to keep them out,” the NFL’s message said.
At the time, there were nearly 250,000 people trying to get tickets.
The wait time was labeled as “more than an hour.”
This year, there are three London games being played, two at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium.
The first matchup is on October 5 between the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns.
The next is on October 12 between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.
The last is on October 19 between the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars.
There are also games being played in Berlin, Dublin, and Madrid this year.
Many NFL fans are trying to get tickets for the special events, and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Ticket sales turned into absolute chaos,” one fan said.
“On my bucket list for one day,” another fan said.
“I’m too broke to even try,” a third fan said.
“What a mess,” a fourth fan said.
“The NFL wants to expand its global brand, but then handles ticket sales for global games like this, shocking,” a fifth fan said.
