Tractor trailer crashes into hotel in Shelby ...Middle East

SHELBY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Shelby Police are responding to a bizarre crash Thursday morning.

The incident happened sometime before 5:30 a.m. on May 29. A tractor-trailer can be seen crashed into the side of the Comfort Inn on East Marion Street.

Authorities have not confirmed what exactly led up to the crash or if anyone was hurt. Traffic is delayed in the area.
