The recently concluded Pakistan Super League 2025 (PSL 2025) didn’t have the DRS, and now the T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will also take place without the technology.
The report reads, “The absence of DRS for the upcoming three-match series has been attributed to the unavailability of the technical staff that typically operates the system. According to PCB sources, the team responsible for the technology has yet to return following the conclusion of the HBL PSL.”
The absence of DRS means the on-field umpire’s calls will be final in the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh. All three T20I matches are scheduled for May 28, May 30, and June 1 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium with the DRS.
