The Arizona State Sun Devils men’s basketball team will reportedly play a nonconference game against Oklahoma at PHX Arena this upcoming season.

The game will take place at the home of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury as part of a doubleheader with Grand Canyon vs. Oklahoma State being the other game, per CBS Sports’ and College Hoops Today’s Jon Rothstein.
The game will take place on Dec. 6. Tip-off times and a tv network have yet to be announced.

The doubleheader will mark the first time ASU will play Oklahoma in program history. It will also mark the first time GCU will face off against Oklahoma State.
ASU and GCU played a nonconference game at PHX Arena (formerly Footprint Center) last November with the Sun Devils beating the ‘Lopes 87-76.
The Arizona Wildcats will also reportedly play a nonconference game at PHX Arena on Dec. 20 against San Diego State.
