On Friday, May 23, the MTV personality, 33, took to Instagram with the huge news: He's producing a documentary about adoption.
Both Tyler and his wife, Catelynn (Lowell) Baltierra have been blunt about their journey placing their oldest daughter, Carly, for adoption as teenagers. In recent years, Carly's adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, closed the open adoption—prompting the Baltierras to speak out even more.
"This is the story of the American Infant Adoption Industry & this is the story of truth that the industry never wanted to be told," the former 16 and Pregnant star continued. "But if you know me, you know I don’t take it lightly when people attempt to silence me or anyone else that’s marginalized like biological parents & adoptees. This is the story that needs to be told & is long overdue!"
