Arsenal will bid to win a first European title since 2007 when they face Barcelona in the Women’s Champions League Final this weekend.
The Gunners are massive underdogs in UEFA’s showpiece match against reigning champions and three-time winners Barca.

Unlike their male counterparts, the women of north London bounced back from a first-leg semi-final defeat at home to a French side to claim victory in France and reach their first Champions League final in 18 years.
Having mirrored Mikel Arteta’s team by eliminating Real Madrid in the last-eight, Arsenal Women secured a 5-3 aggregate scalp over Lyon.
Barcelona pose a more formidable test, having thrashed WSL champions Chelsea 4-1 home and away to return to the final.
The Catalan side have also dominated Arsenal (4-0 and 4-1) in their last meeting during the group stage of the 2021/22 competition.
When is the Women’s Champions League Final?
The 2025 Women’s Champions League final will take place on Saturday, May 24.
Kick-off at Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal, is scheduled for 5pm UK time.

Both clubs have near fully fit squads to choose from, with Barcelona’s one notable absentee being Kika Nazareth.
The 22-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the Copa de la Reina semi-final to miss out on a homecoming to her Lisbon birthplace.
Arsenal, meanwhile, remain without Lina Hurtig, who has been sidelined for much of this season.
Laia Codina and Katie Reid are also in the treatment room, but Daphne van Domselaar is closing in on a comeback.

On her personal accolades, the Arsenal star exclusively told talkSPORT: “It’s obviously nice, but there’s absolutely nothing like winning a trophy as a team.
“So I think obviously, it’s nice, but the game on Saturday means the most, what we can create as a team will be very special.
“Winning team trophies, leagues and tournaments and things like that, they are the top and nothing can beat them.”
