THE Israeli Embassy staffers who were killed outside Washington DC’s Jewish Museum have been remembered as a madly in love couple who were in the prime of their lives.
Yaron Lischinsky had secretly bought an engagement ring to propose to girlfriend Sarah Milgrim just days before they were shot to death.

Elias Rodriguez, a 31-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, has been named as the suspect, and he was caught on film screaming “free Palestine” during his arrest.
Milgrim and Lischinsky were both working for the Israeli Embassy when they were killed. Milgrim helped plan missions for Jewish people in America, and Lischinsky was a research assistant.
On Sunday, the couple was set to fly to Jerusalem, where Milgrim, who was an American, was going to meet Israel-native Lischinsky’s family.
She didn’t know that her boyfriend of a year and a half was going to propose at some point during the trip.
