A NEW theme park at Universal Orlando has officially opened its gates.
The highly-anticipated Epic Universe spans 750 acres and includes five immersive worlds.

Tickets are currently on sale, and Epic Universe can now be included in park packages alongside side Universal Studios, Islands Of Adventure, and water park Volcano Bay.
The new park will operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with parking lots and ride-share drop off opening from 6:00 AM and shuttle buses from affiliated hotels beginning at the same time.
“Prepare for thrills and excitement unlike anything you’ve experienced before,” a Universal rep said ahead of the grand opening.
While Epic Universe offers an introduction to a variety of new worlds, it also gives park-goers a new take on a fan-favorite.
THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER – THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC
Potterheads can now visit the magic world’s ministry, featured in several of the films from both the original and spin-off series.
The land is said to give fans an immersive experience “from 1920s Paris to the 1990s British Ministry”.
“Encounter fantastic beasts as you explore wizarding Paris in the 1920s, then take the Métro-Floo to the British Ministry in the 1990s for new thrills with Harry, Ron, and Hermione,” the rep said.
And you can also snack on some “magical morsels” from Café L’air De La Sirène or Le Gobelet Noir.
And of course, a visit to the Wizarding World wouldn’t be complete without a Butterbeer, which you can pick up from Bar Moonshine.
Super Nintendo World
Fans of the world-famous video game can enjoy “jungle action and fun” in Donkey Kong Country, where they can witness Mine-Cart Madness in action.
You can also race alongside your favorite Mario Kart characters in Bowser’s Challenge.
And visitors can purchase a Power-Up Band in the land’s massive merch store, allowing them access to variety of interactive activities throughout the world.

These include Toadstool Cafe, The Bubbly Barrel, Yoshi’s Snack Island, and Turbo Boost Treats.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON — ISLE OF BERK
Universal OrlandoHow To Train Your Dragon has come to life with the new Isle of Berk land[/caption]Ahead of the highly-anticipated live action remake, the How To Train Your Dragon world has come to life at Universal.
Fans have the opportunity to “discover an island where Vikings and fire-breathing dragons exist together in harmony” with everythign from “an exciting coaster to a heart-warming live show”.
According to Universal, this land guarantees “fire-breathing fun for all ages”.
And you can even refuel like a Viking too, with a number of dining options available.
Visitors can feast on everything from Thawfest Platters to Spit Fyre Grill Bowls.
Eatery options include Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill, and Hooligan’s Grog and Gruel.
DARK UNIVERSE
EPAVisitors can journey through the spooky Dark Universe, where classic monsters are lurking behind every corner[/caption]Park-goers can also opt for the spookier Dark Universe, where they can “discover a world of legendary monsters”.
“From the experiments of Victoria Frankenstein to a twisted landscape where monsters roam, Dark Universe is a grim world of myth and mystery,” Universal reps explained.
And while the unknown may lurk around every corner in this shadowy world, visitors are guaranteed to encounter some of their favorite scary characters.
These include Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Brides of Dracula, and even the Phantom of the Opera.
And you can even enjoy a scary snack from Das Stakehaus, The Burning Blade Tavern, or De Lacey’s Cottage.
CELESTIAL PARK
EPAThe Stardust Racers dual-launch coaster is one of the rides featured in the new Celestial Park[/caption]Offering thrilling rides, dining, entertainment, and even a variety of shopping options, Celestial Park rounds out the new Epic Universe worlds.
Described as the “cosmic heart of Universal Epic Universe”, this park includes lush greenery, tree-lined walkways, and dancing fountains.
Visitors can “blaze through the skies” and “hurl across the cosmos” on the Stardust Racers dual-launch racing coaster.
There are also 11 dining options, including a seafood restaurant, a pizza place, and an astro-pub option.
And you can choose from “countless treasures” at the wide range of souvenir stores.
