COSTCO fans have rejoiced after spotting the long-awaited return of a beloved food court item, but not everyone is satisfied.
While many have celebrated the item making its comeback, others want other foods to have their day at the food court too.

Sometimes, a returning favorite makes everyone happy, but often people feel left out.
This is the case once again, as onions have officially returned to the food court, as revealed in a Reddit thread.
“One eagle-eyed shopper told the world their news on Saturday: I haven’t seen onions since before the pandemic!
“There were onions at the food court tonight!”
But others in the comment section of the post said that onions have long been a staple at their local Costco.
One person said: “Beaverton Costco; we had onions in little containers for a year or so now, but no crank machine back yet.”
This was backed up by someone else: “Way more than a year.
“I’ve had onions in the Portland, Happy Valley and Tigard locations.”
According to the comments, at some Costco locations, you can ask for onions behind the counter.
WHY NO ONIONS?
Meanwhile, one person theorised why the onions had been taken away in the first place.
They suggested that it was because people were abusing the system.
They added: “From what I’ve been told it’s unlikely that will happen.
“The reason they took them away was because people would load up their soda cup to the top with “free” onions and it was a big loss for the store.
“Now they use little disposable cups in the mornings that have to be prepped daily, but due to lack of space, lack of employees, lack of prep time they usually run out by midday and unless it’s unusually slow there won’t be more prepped until the next morning.”
OTHER ITEMS WANTED
Sauerkraut was a popular item at Costco food courts mentioned in the thread, too.
This would be to add to the hot dogs, as well as the onions.
However, it has not made the same comeback that onions have, much to the disappointment of some.

And another pleaded: “Forget onions, bring back the sauerkraut!”
