BURGER King has mocked McDonald’s and Wendy’s in a blunt four-word warning.
It comes as a new fast food survey has revealed the top 25 burger chains in the U.S.

The fast food giant has created a menu inspired by the characters and themes of the latest How to Train Your Dragon film as part of a collaboration with Universal Pictures.
It’s trying to encourage more family visits by offering red-and-orange-marbled buns, and selling fiery dragon-inspired mozzarella fries.
The promotion will celebrate the release of the new film in theaters on June 13.
‘BRINGING FAMILIES BACK’
Curtis said, “We’re inviting families back in, and we’re finding that we’re getting better retention when they do come back in.”
The broadcaster explained that as part of the multinational firm’s turnaround efforts, “the fast-food chain is trying to lure families back to its restaurants with colored Whopper buns and kid-friendly movie partnerships.”
From next Tuesday, the Restaurant Brands International chain will sell new menu items inspired by the live action remake of the hit film.
“The collaboration is part of Burger King’s broader strategy to lift U.S. sales,” according to CNBC.
However, Curtis also taunted Burger King’s long-time rivals Wendy’s and McDonald’s during the interview.
He claimed, “I know that they’re scrambling, and sometimes, frankly, copying some of the things that we do, which, you know, plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery.
“When we see them doing that, it gives us more conviction to stay on course.”
It’s the latest trash talk from Burger King – which regularly trolls its major competitors.
For example in 2020, it posted a photo of the chain’s King mascot standing in front of a Wendy’s while holding a cardboard sign that mocked “Roses are red, violets are blue, patties are round.”
MISSING SPICE IN YOUR LIFE
But Wendy’s hit right back, replying on social media, “[Look] who dropped by to see what Spicy Nuggets were supposed to taste like.”
And in 2023, Wendy’s tweeted this seemingly innocent question, “Where’s the beef?” in a poke at McDonald’s and Burger King.
Burger King launched its own version of spicy nuggets in 2023 – specifically to troll Wendy’s months after the latter removed them from the menu, annoying diners.
As part of its promotion, Burger King even said that customers named “Wendy” could show an ID card to get a 10-piece order for free.
Its ad said, “(Yea, if your name is Wendy, we’re talking to you.) We’ve been listening. It sounds like you’ve been missing the spice in your life long enough.”

The fast food chain's new menu offerings include:

Two years ago, a hiring poster spotted in a Burger King window allegedly read, “Work for a king, not a clown,” reported Mashed in 2023.
“Burger King is not above taking good-natured cheap shots at its competition,” the website added.
FIGHT FOR DOMINANCE
In February this year, Burger King rolled out a new premium coffee range, closely following McDonald’s McCafe model.
While Burger King’s U.S. sales remained stable at $205,000 per restaurant last year, the company is keen to accelerate growth in 2025.
The chain’s How to Tame Your Dragon promotion is expected to run through early July.
It said in a statement that it was an “adventurous new menu” offering diners a Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper, Fiery Dragon Mozzarella Fries, Soaring Strawberry Lemonade and Viking’s Chocolate Sundae.
