Robbie Williamscertainly is. To travel back to that blissful era of shaggy hair, polo shirts, bucket hats, and Tony Blair, the former Take That singer is getting help from a different Tony: Tony Iommi, the founding guitarist of heavy metal pioneersBlack Sabbath.
Robbie first burst on the music scene in 1990 as a member of the boy band Take That. The group was a massive success before breaking up after Robbie decided to go solo.
With Britpop, Robbie "set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995."
"There's some 'Brit' in there and there's certainly some 'pop' too – I'm immensely proud of this as a body of work and I'm excited for fans to hear this album," added Robbie.

His life was the subject of the fantastical biopic, Better Man. The 2024 movie featured Robbie as a CGI apeman as it detailed his career's rise, fall, and resurgence.
