THE Cleveland Browns have welcomed a new minority owner – who now faces the same restrictions as Tom Brady.
Fox NFL commentator Brady was hit with tough rules by the league after his part-ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders was confirmed.

The Browns announced that former defensive back Charles Woodson will join the ownership team.
Woodson, 48, is an analyst on the Fox NFL Kickoff show on Sunday mornings during the season.
“Growing up in Fremont, Ohio, it was a dream come true to play in the National Football League,” he said.
“In my wildest childhood dreams, I never considered the opportunity to become a limited partner of an NFL team, let alone the Cleveland Browns in my home state of Ohio.
“It is among my greatest honors to join the Haslam and Johnson families and the entire Haslam Sports Group to become a limited partner of the Cleveland Browns, one of the NFL’s most storied franchises.
“Over the last year, I’ve enjoyed getting to know the leadership team at the Browns.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to be a part of the bright future for this team and to help be a resource for the entire organization as well as the NFL.
“I want to thank Dee and Jimmy Haslam for providing me this amazing opportunity and Derrick Heggans for presenting this rare opportunity to me and facilitating the process.”
But with his proud new venture, Woodson will now face tough restrictions which affect his broadcasting role.

But the commentator is not allowed to be in another team’s facility now he’s a part owner.
He is also not aloowed to attend broadcast meetings or witness a team practice.
And the former NFL player is also banned from criticizing officials or other teams.
He must also adhere to the league’s gambling and anti-tampering policies.

He was in the league from 1998 to 2015 with the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
The safety went to nine Pro Bowls and won the Super Bowl with Green Bay in 2010.
He was also the league’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.
