The match between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently underway at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, May 19.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach, Daniel Vettori, provided a concerning update about the star batter Travis Head.
Head has had a below-par season with the bat in the Indian Premier League 2025, as in 11 matches he managed to score just 281 runs at an average of 28.10 and a strike rate of 156.11.
Jaydev Unadkat is on a personal leave - Pat Cummins
Speaking at the toss, the SRH skipper Pat Cummins said that Head is currently in the team hotel. He also revealed that the star pacer Jaydev Unadkat will be missing the clash against LSG as he is on personal leave. He said:
SRH added Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harsh Dubey and Kamindu Mendis to their playing XI, leaving out the likes of Sachin Baby, Abhinav Manohar, and Jaydev Unadkat.
