KSI is set to go under the knife for a troublesome hand injury.
The British YouTube star was forced out of a 2 vs 1 tag team fight with Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor last August after the injury flared up in camp.
GETTYKSI and Till’s fight will have to wait[/caption]He attempted to get back in the ring in March, firstly against Wayne Bridge and then Dillon Danis when the former Chelsea defender pulled out due to some derogatory comments made by KSI about his ex-girlfriend and her alleged affair with John Terry.
However, his fight with Danis fell to the same fate when KSI withdrew from the grudge match due to illness.
Since then, the 31-year-old has remained sidelined, while he has even hinted at the possibility of hanging up his gloves.
But on Friday night, at Misfits 21, former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till called out his boss after dropping fellow MMA star Darren ‘The Dentist’ Stewart twice en route to a unanimous decision win.
“No one wants to f****** fight me… Where is KSI the little c***? Are we going to fight?
“I can get down to the weight, come on. You know you can fight… Otherwise, me and you are going to have to tag-team those c**** Jake and Logan [Paul].”
KSI didn’t seem particularly interested in the proposition as he watched on from ringside, and in the immediate aftermath, he revealed to a group of content creators why.
“For me, I have said that I need to fix my hand,” he said when asked if he will accept Till’s callout.
“I wanted to do hyrox (an indoor fitness competition) and I got one hour, 10 minutes and 43 seconds.
“It’s pretty good for the first time. But for me, now that I have got that done, it is time for surgery.

“Get that fixed, and then just rehab it so I can eventually be able to punch again.
“I’ve heard from different people that it is six weeks or six months [to recover from].
“I want it to be a lot sooner rather than later, but it just depends on how severe the damage is.”
KSI hasn’t stepped foot in the ring since October 2023 when he lost on points to Tommy Fury.
It marked the first, and to date only, defeat of a 7-fight (5-1-1) career that includes a win over Logan Paul.
Till transitioned from MMA to boxing last year after a successful career in the cage that included 12 UFC fights.
He moved to 3-0 in the squared circle on Friday after previously beating Mohammad Mutie and Taylor.
