50 Cent’s feud with Sean “Diddy” Combs has been rumbling for years — and now the outspoken rapper has taken to social media to weigh in on Diddy’s ongoing trial.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, had been publicly calling out Diddy for at least a decade before his arrest in September 2024. Diddy has since been charged with racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking, and his trial is currently taking place in New York City. He has pled not guilty to all charges.
On Wednesday, May 14, 50 Cent took to Instagram to comment on the ongoing events in court. “After listening to today’s testimony. I think the diddler should have took the plea offer,” he wrote. “The s— they are saying is beyond me, so what do ya think?” In another post, he wrote: “This s— crazier then regular crazy.”
Later, he shared an extract from the court transcripts and made obscene comments about the content.
Diddy and 50 Cent’s History Explained: A Timeline of the Rappers' Feud
Over the years, 50 Cent has regularly poked fun at Diddy’s life both onstage and on social media. In October 2024, the “In Da Club” rapper spoke to People about his decision to call Diddy out long before his legal troubles began. “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t,” he said. “It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.”
He also announced in December 2023 that his production company, G-Unit Films and Television Inc, was working on a documentary series about Diddy.
The outspoken 49-year-old star believed people were finally paying more attention in light of the shocking charges against Diddy. “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff,” he said, “but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.’”
The two huge stars came up in the rap industry around the same time — and have been feuding for almost as long, but their beef made headlines again when, in March 2024, two of Diddy’s residences were raided in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation.
50 Cent has said many times that he was happy to never be part of the wild rap party scene that Diddy was at the center of. “That’s why I don’t be going to them Puffy parties,” he quipped during an October 2023 concert, per social media footage. “[He’ll] hug you from the front and the back at the same time? F— you talkin’ about? Look, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. To each his own. I’m just sayin’ this ain’t my motherf—ing kind of party. It’s uncomfortable. I think I belong in the girls’ bathroom when s— like that is going on.”

Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all allegations made against him.
On Wednesday, May 14, model and singer Cassie testified about her abusive relationship with Diddy and her struggles with PTSD after it ended. She is scheduled to begin the cross-examination portion of her testimony on Thursday, May 15.
