Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is keeping potential lineup decisions close to the vest ahead of a pivotal Game 5 against the Florida Panthers.
Berube told reporters that there are some game-time decisions for the lineup, but they are not injury-related.
The Leafs coach said he was contemplating changes to the lineup after his team dropped Game 4 against the Panthers.
However, Berube was not revealing much as the team ran the normal lineup at practice on Tuesday while Wednesday’s morning skate was optional.
Usually, only the scratches participate in the optional morning skates. One player who was not on the ice was David Kampf, which suggests that he could be an option to enter Game 5.
Kampf has not played since April 2 when he was injured against the Panthers. The 30-year-old was limited to 59 appearances during the regular season because of injuries, as he recorded five goals and 13 points.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson was on the ice prior to the morning skate after missing practice Tuesday with an illness. Berube confirmed that Ekman-Larsson will be in the lineup for Game 5.
