A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after four people were injured in a Denver shooting earlier this month, just blocks from Coors Field, police said.

Carlos Lujan was arrested Friday and booked into Denver’s Downtown Detention Center on investigation of four counts of attempted first-degree murder in the Market Street shooting, according to court records. He’s being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond, court records show.

The shooting started as a fight on May 4 between two groups of people near 19th and Market streets, including Lujan, according to a news release from the Denver Police Department. After shots were fired, Lujan was spotted on surveillance video fleeing the area in his car, police said.

That intersection is on the edge of Denver’s Union Station neighborhood.

Denver officers responding to the shooting found a woman and two men who had been shot. A fourth victim took himself to the hospital and was connected to the case later that day, police said.

All four victims are expected to survive, police said.

Investigators were able to track Lujan down using the city’s Flock automated license plate reader system and arrested him Friday evening, police said.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
