A YOUNG woman has claimed that she charges her boyfriend every time he plays golf.
Lola Owen has been met with a hugely mixed response as a result of her claims, with mean trolls even calling her a “red flag”.

Lola took to social media to share the unique dynamic between her and her boyfriend, who she describes as her “biggest hype man”.
In a short clip which has now gone viral, the blonde beauty filmed her boyfriend entering their bedroom as she sat in her bed.
Lola’s man came towards her in his golf gear, just moments before leaving to swing his clubs, presumably with his friends.
Holding his wallet, the young man didn’t hesitate to hand Lola a £20 note, which she eagerly grabbed.
A couple of seconds later, whilst smiling at Lola, who previously posted about “allowing” her boyfriend to “play all the golf he wants”, he dug into his wallet and handed her yet another £20 note, bringing Lola’s total earnings to an impressive £40.
Lola described her generous fella, who works in construction, as the “best boyfriend”.
She even claimed that the tradesman gives her money to spend on nights out too.
Alongside the short video, Lola, who hopes that one day she can become a “PGA wife” and take their children to The Masters, penned: “This is your reminder to change your boyfriend every time he goes golfing on a weekend.”
She also claimed that charging her man for his hobby has proved a “nice little side hustle” for her.
Big divide
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lolaowen6, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and amassed 1.9 million views.
Not only this, but in just two days, it’s also racked up 89,400 likes, 528 comments and a whopping 31,900 shares.
But social media users were left totally divided by Lola’s actions – whilst some thought it was “weird”, others were impressed.

Side hustles in numbers
Based on new research from Finder, an estimated 22.8 million Brits are using side hustles to top up their income.
Among those aged 18-23, 68 percent have a side hustle in 2024.
Those aged 24-42 aren’t far behind, with 65 per cent having an additional source of income.
Side hustles are less popular among older generations, with 40 percent of those aged 43-54 having one.
Whereas 23 percent of people aged 55-73 and just 7 per cent of those aged 74 and over are earning extra cash this way.
Meanwhile, someone else asked: “Funny if it’s a joke lol. But is it?”
To this, Lola replied and confirmed: “It’s not a joke x”
However, at the same time, one woman beamed: “I love this type of behaviour.”
A second joked: “God forbid he’s supporting a small business.”
Whilst another girlfriend questioned: “How do I get my fella into golf?”
