A PERSON died after collapsing at a Premier Inn hotel on Saturday evening.
A “medical incident” was reported at the Ashford North Premier Inn, Kent.
Police and ambulance responded to the incident, as “guarded” officers were seen closing off access to the main entrance of the hotel from 7:30pm.
A diner at a nearby restaurant told KentOnline: “There are two police cars outside, down from three.
“There are two ambulances too.”
Police confirmed their attendance at the scene shortly after 7.30pm, where they assisted ambulance crews.
An ambulance spokesperson has now confirmed the person who had collapsed at the hotel in Maidstone Road “sadly died at the scene.”
