TUA TAGOVAILOA’S brother Taulia has been released by CFL team Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The quarterback signed for the Tiger-Cats last year after going undrafted.

Taulia, 25, rushed three times for 10 yards and completed one six-yard pass.
But he failed to nail down a regular spot in the team and has subsequently been released ahead of a Tiger-Cats training camp.
Coach Scott Milanovich said: “It was the fit.
“I think [Taulia] has a lot of talent. He’s got a chance… I figure he’ll get picked up by somebody else.
“It was a fit within what we’re looking for in this offence. He’s a great kid, I wish him well, it’s hard to see him go.”
It is the latest setback for Taulia, with the 25-year-old now on the search for the fourth team of his career.
He started out playing college football for Alabama Crimson Tide in 2019, playing five games.
The Hawaiian then spent four years at Maryland Terrapins between 2020 and 2023, starting 39 out of his 40 appearances.
Taulia threw 11,256 yards for the Terrapins and passed 76 touchdowns – which are both team records.
While he rushed 205 yards and 13 touchdowns.
However he has struggled to push on since leaving and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to remain in the CFL.
It is a big contrast to his older brother Tua Tagovailoa, 26, who was the starting quarterback ahead of Taulia at Alabama.
Tagovailoa joined the Miami Dolphins on a rookie contract worth $30million in 2020 after being selected fifth in the draft.
He has gone on to make 64 NFL appearances, scoring 106 touchdowns.
Last year Tagovailoa signed a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension with the Dolphins through 2028.
