India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli, who called Test cricket his priority, retired ahead of the five-match series against the England National Cricket Team. The series between the two teams is all set to start on 20th June at Headingley in Leeds
The reports claimed that Virat Kohli conveyed the same to chief selector Ajit Agarkar and a powerful administrator running Indian cricket in the first week of April. The BCCI, however, wasn't amazed at the decision, especially with the England series around the corner, and asked the batter to rethink his decision, but he stood firm on his stance.
