Media was only allowed to attend Saturday’s practice where we saw our first glimpse at Jahdae Barron, Pat Bryant, and RJ Harvey, who all stood out.
The Broncos announced several roster moves on Monday afternoon that has the roster set for OTAs in a few weeks.
Denver signed tight end Cole Fotheringham, who was a veteran tryout participant this past week — long snapper Zach Triner, inside linebacker Jordan Turner, and wide receiver Kyrese White.
Triner was initially released last week before rookie minicamp, but was brought back on Monday as Mitchell Fraboni continues to recover from an offseason back procedure. Fotheringham impressed enough to receive an invite to OTAs, which will include other veteran players in a few weeks.
Turner was a player who stood out during practice this past week, as did White.
To make room for these players to be signed to the roster, Denver had to waive four players.
The Broncos waived cornerback Kendall Bohler, nose tackle Christian Dowell, linebacker KJ Cloyd, and tight end Thomas Yassmin.
Yassmin initially had the Exempt/International Player designation, which allowed him not to count against the team’s active roster. With Yassmin being waived, Broncos sixth-round punter Jeremy Crawshaw takes on the Exempt/International designation, and he will not count against the team’s 90-man roster.
