PRINCE Harry has FOMO and needs to own up to his decisions, experts have slammed.

The Royal dropped some bombshells in his surprise BBC interview, but experts say he’s hitting out at the Palace because he’s missing it.

On The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Royal author Robert Jobson wondered if the Duke has been struggling after he stepped down as a working Royal.

Notably, Harry did not appear at VE Day celebrations and has not appeared standing with the veterans at previous events.

Robert said: “Maybe there was a degree of that bitterness in what he gave that interview with the BBC, a sense, again, he wasn’t there – and he knows he should be there.

“A lot of people blame Meghan for a lot, I don’t blame her at all.

“I think he’s got to be man enough to make his own decisions and some of the decisions he’s made have been absolutely got wrong.

“Nobody said you shouldn’t go away and have a private life but if he hadn’t done the book and if he hadn’t done the Oprah interview, there’s no doubt in my view that he would have been invited back to do certain things.”

Legendary Royal photographer Arthur Edwards agreed Harry should own up to his mistakes.

He added: “And when he had the chance to correct a lot of it, he didn’t do that.”

“He didn’t say ‘look, I probably got that wrong, Dad, and I’m sorry, William.’

“I mean, what he did, it was pretty treacherous.”

In the scathing attack, the Duke of Sussex unleashed a host of new claims including how dad Charles is no longer speaking to him and how he’s “uncovered his worst fears”.

He said he would “love reconciliation” with the royal family but claims there is nothing he can do.

Whether they will make up, according to the Duke, will ultimately be up to his father, saying: “It’s in his hands.”

He added: “I have no idea how much longer my father has – he is no longer speaking to me – but it would be nice to reconcile.”

Throughout the interview, Harry also slammed the UK, saying he felt “let down” by his country and insists he will no longer be returning to his homeland.

He also described his court loss as a “good old fashioned establishment stitch up” and also took at swipe at William and Kate.

Despite his claims of seeking a reconciliation, Harry said he had no regrets even if his family would never forgive him.

Arthur believes if this is what Harry truly wants, he should have taken a different approach during his interview.

He continued: “If he’d have said in that interview ‘I’m sorry Dad for what I’ve done,’ I think then the King would have probably said ‘okay let’s have a chat.’

“All he needs to do is say sorry and that he’s not going to do it again, not going to betray the Royal family again – he just got it all wrong.”

Robert pinned the interview as an “emotional outburst” and agreed that the interview was a mistake.

He added: “The big problem with Harry is that even if there was an attempt at a reconciliation with a private conversation, you can’t trust him that those conversations would probably become public.”

Prince Harry's biggest bombshells

Prince Harry lost his publicly-funded security appeal in a humiliating blow Harry claimed the King WON’T speak to him ‘because of this security stuff’  He said he ‘can’t see a world’ where he would bring his wife and children to the UK  Harry revealed he has ‘forgiven’ his family and was up for reconciliation – but claimed it was ALL down to Charles  The royal described his court loss as a ‘good old fashioned establishment stitch up’  He also said he feels ‘let down’ by his country and reached out to the PM for help. Buckingham Palace breaks its silence with a scathing statement after the bombshell interview Prince Harry says he ‘doesn’t know how long King Charles has left’

The Duke of Sussex started feuding with his family, including his own brother Prince William, since he and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020.

In the interview, he said: “There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family.”

Another tragic revelation in the bombshell interview was when Prince Harry revealed that his father, King Charles, won’t speak to him.

Harry said when making the emotional admission: “He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”

After the interview, Buckingham Palace had broken its silence with a scathing statement.

A spokesperson said: “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.”

Shortly after the wave-making interview, the BBC admitted an embarrassing “lapse in standards” over its coverage of Harry’s security case court loss.

In a statement the broadcaster has now said: “The programme covered the latest developments in the story of Prince Harry and his legal case around protection for him and his family in the UK and interviewed former close protection officer Richard Aitch to get a broader understanding of security considerations.

“Claims were repeated that the process had been ‘an establishment stitch-up’ and we failed to properly challenge this and other allegations.

“This case is ultimately the responsibility of the Home Office and we should have reflected their statement: ‘We are pleased that the Court has found in favour of the Government’s position in this case.

“‘The UK Government’s protective security system is rigorous and proportionate. It is our long-standing policy not to provide detailed information on those arrangements, as doing so could compromise their integrity and affect individuals’ security.”

“We also should have given the view of Buckingham Palace: ‘All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.’

“This was a lapse in our usual high editorial standards.”

Harry’s fiery statement in full as duke takes swipe at Charles over security row & makes claims over ‘shocking truths’

By Emily Jane Davies

FURIOUS Prince Harry has taken another swipe at the royal family, accusing them of being the reason his security was axed after Megxit.

Hours after his astonishing BBC interview, the defeated prince released a second tirade blaming his family for the row.

Harry later released a statement, saying that the legal action was a last resort but it uncovered “shocking truths”.

He revealed he will be writing to the Home Secretary to ask her to review the matter.

The 40-year-old claimed that the “Royal Household are key decision-makers on RAVEC”.

“Before the Royal Household’s role on RAVEC was known, this secretive committee concluded that when my wife would join the royal family, she should not receive protection.

“Only when I asked for the name of the person willing to carry that risk did they reverse the decision.”

Speaking of the decision to strip the Sussexes of their security after Megxit, he said: “This reckless action knowingly put me and my family in harm’s way. Life is precious and I understand the fragility of it.”

The prince went on to say he remains committed to a life of public service and said: “All I’ve been asking for is safety.”

Harry continued: “To this present day, the Royal Household remain my sole representation on RAVEC for every visit and could call for this assessment to be done at any point.

“The only possible conclusion that can be drawn is that they choose not to because they known the outcome would prove that my security should never have been removed in the first place.

“My family and I have been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats, including from Al-Qaeda.”

The prince went on to slam the lack of a risk assessment as a “dereliction of duty”.

Harry said he was born into “lifelong circumstances that create inherent security risks” as a royal.

He went on to say his hands have now been tied in seeking “legal recourse against the establishment”.

“This all comes from the same institutions that preyed upon my mother, that openly campaigned for the removal of our security, and continue to incite hatred towards me, my wife and even our children, while at the same time protecting the very power that they should be holding accountable.”
