The rising trend means people don’t have to spend years saving up for a mortgage and you can find your dream home at the click of a button thanks to Amazon.
The online retailer and marketplace is now selling a tiny home that can come with two bedrooms and be personalized.
The Expandable Foldable Modular House is a fraction of the price of regular housing at just $13,675.
It can be delivered straight to your door and easily expanded once it’s arrived.
The property comes with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom along with a porch to enjoy the sunshine.
It can be customized to your exact needs and comes in three sizes, 20ft, 30ft or 40ft.
The house can be made on one floor or two and you can pick the color of the walls inside to make it feel homely straight away.
It also comes with a savvy space-saving design as rooms and areas to be folded away when not in use.
“This innovative design is particularly beneficial in urban environments where space is limited,” the manufacturer adds.
They add: “These homes can be equipped with foldable or compact furniture and appliances, maximizing usability while minimizing the physical footprint.
“This feature is especially useful for smaller living spaces.”
The structure of the house is made with galvanized steel to make it water and fireproof and comes with a one-year warranty.
TINY TREND
Tiny homes are definitely coming into their own due to higher living costs and the soaring price of real estate.
The modern tiny home movement is considered to have been founded by Jay Shafer, who built his first version when he was homeless at the end of the 1990s.
Since then, the movement has expanded as people look for a simpler way of living.
