A crash involving a tractor-trailer on westbound Interstate 70 in Aurora is causing delays for Monday morning commuters, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
As of 6:45 a.m., the crash had shut down the three right lanes of westbound I-70 between exit 286 for Tower Road and exit 285 for Airport Boulevard, according to CDOT.
CDOT officials estimated westbound drivers were experiencing more than 20-minute delays.
Cameras in the area of the crash showed traffic moving past the tractor-trailer in a single open lane. Debris is littered under an overhead electronic sign, which the truck reportedly hit the pole of, according to Denver7.
