It’s always a good week for Us when Donna Kelce joins sons Jason and Travis Kelce on their podcast — and her latest appearance did not disappoint.
The Wednesday, May 7, episode of “New Heights” was a Mother’s Day extravaganza, with Donna, 72, dropping by to share parenting advice and more with sons Jason, 37, and Travis, 35. While helping to answer voicemails from listeners, Jason asked his mom a hard-hitting question.
“Did you not like any of Travis or I’s girlfriends?” the former Philadelphia Eagles star teased. “Or my girlfriend, now wife.”
Donna didn’t hold back with her reply. “Jason, you really didn’t bring a lot of ladies home,” she confessed. “You dated, but I didn’t know any of ’em. With Trav, I met one or two.”

Travis playfully interjected, saying, “What?! I didn’t have any girlfriends.”

You told me zero,” she said, wondering whether Jason and Travis had “any time at all to date” with their busy schedules as college athletes.
For Jason, free time wasn’t the issue. “I had absolutely zero game,” he joked. “And I looked like an overweight Oompa Loompa.”
The conversation began after a fan called in with a question about whether to allow her 17-year-old son to “change all of his plans to follow his girlfriend to where she’s going to college.” Donna noted that she had friends who faced a similar parenting challenge, while Jason joked that the caller “clearly” wasn’t a fan of the girlfriend in this scenario.
While Donna seemingly had no strong feelings about her sons’ childhood flames, she’s a big fan of their current partners. Donna has formed a close bond with Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, and the appreciation is mutual.

Kylie, who recently welcomed her fourth daughter with Jason, added at the time, “He had that example at home and he has taken that into his adult life, and he uses that as an example of how he shows me respect and love every single day.”
Donna has also been supportive of Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift, which began in summer 2023. The duo have frequently been spotted cheering on Travis together at his Kansas City Chiefs games, and Donna has even been introduced to Taylor’s mom, Andrea Swift.
“It’s still really, really new, and I really appreciate it,” Donna told Entertainment Tonight in September 2024 of her connection with Taylor’s family. “Wonderful people, very down to Earth, very Midwestern. Ohio and Pennsylvania are right next to each other, so we kind of understand each other, so it’s really kind of nice. It feels like home.”
