BUYERS will have to shell out more for three of Ford’s popular models – but only if they are built after a specific date.
The price of those vehicles is jumping by $2,000, the automaker confirmed this week.

The decision comes as Ford braces for a $2.5 billion hit from President Donald Trump’s ongoing trade war.
Ford, based in Dearborn, Michigan, said it hopes to slash $1 billion from that projected tariff cost.
A spokesperson said the higher prices reflect “usual” mid-year pricing moves and “some tariffs we are facing.”
“We have not passed on the full cost of tariffs to our customers,” the spokesperson told Reuters.
The models affected by the price hike are the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, Maverick pickup, and Bronco Sport, the outlet reported.
