The Big Sky Conference Softball Tournament will resume Wednesday morning and feature a schedule of four games at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
The four-day, double-elimination tournament is now scheduled to run through Saturday at UNC’s Gloria Rodriguez Field. The original schedule was for games to be played Tuesday-Friday.
The opening day Tuesday was postponed by early afternoon because of rain and lightning that rolled through the area for most of the day.
UNC and Portland State were unable to complete their tournament-opening game Tuesday before the slate of four games was scrapped. The Bears and Vikings were tied 4-4 in the top of the fourth inning. UNC is the fourth seed for the six team tournament. Portland State is No. 5.
