Sai Sudharsan took a stunner in the first over of the match to send the star Mumbai Indians (MI) opening batsman Ryan Rickelton packing at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Rickelton has looked in good form in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League, and he played a vital role in the success of the Mumbai Indians.
However, the Proteas batter Ryan Rickelton failed to deliver a good performance in the match against the Gujarat Titans and fell in the first over itself.
The ball went straight towards Sai Sudharsan, who took a good low catch while diving forward to send Rickelton packing for 2-ball 2. It was the fourth first-over wicket for Mohammed Siraj in IPL 2025 and ninth in the powerplay.

"100 percent, it's going to be one of those games where one of the teams would want the bragging rights, especially going into the latter part of the tournament. Because I think both these teams are going to be in the top four. And if they play each other, they're going to have their psychological edge in the eliminator or the playoff," Varun Aaron said.
"Potentially, I love the undertone of the story. Yeah, we've got the top three, the greatest top three in the IPL this season versus Jasprit Bumrah. That's come back.
"And the way that Trent Boult was bowling, I just like the balance of Mumbai, but I like the matchups. And I think that creates that little bit of spice. I don't know. Is it a bowling team that's going to win this game for them?"
