With temperatures set to climb again this weekend, after a chilly bank holiday many of us are likely making plans to spend time relaxing in the garden.

However, after a long winter of neglect, you may have found that your garden is in need of a bit of TLC.

And whether pesky weeds or a drab looking patio are your main concern, the Gardenline 5L Pressure Sprayer is bound to make any job easier.

Priced at just £7.99, the bargain buy will be available in stores from Thursday, May 8.

Anyone keen to grab themselves a sprayer should head to their local Aldi as soon as possible since, as with all Specialbuys, the product is only available while stocks last.

The sprayer is perfect for blasting your patio slabs with, to make them sparkling and looking as good as new.

Additionally, according to Aldi, it is “great for weeds control”.

Although a warning displayed on the box warns that you cannot put herbicides into the sprayer, it can still help to banish weeds.

Simply place a weed killing substance such as salt or white vinegar onto the weeds, and once they have died, blast them with the sprayer to dislodge the roots.

“Use a pressure washer or a hose to remove the soil from the cracks so weeds can’t germinate,” explained Noelle Johnson, horticulturist and author of The Water-Smart Garden.

“The strong stream of water from a pressure [washer] will, at times, dislodge the weed or at the very least cut it off below the surface of the crack,” added Brad Fowler, urban horticulture extension agent.

The sprayer includes a  long reach lance with an adjustable nozzle and safety valve making it simple to use.

It holds up to five litres of water, and comes with a three year warranty, so you can be safe in the knowledge that it will help you tackle garden problems for years to come.

Plus the product is miles cheaper than pressure sprayers from other stores, such as the Hozelock – Standard Pressure Sprayer, which is priced at £36.99 at B&Q.

If weeds are taking over your garden, you can also try Aldi’s Electric Weed Killer.

More weed hacks

MORE cheap hacks to banish weeds from your garden for good.

BRUSH OFF: Gardening fans have raved about the Rolson Weed Brush, which you can buy from B&M.

One social media user commented: “This is my new friend. £4 from B&M”, whilst a second agreed: “I used one of these too and it’s brilliant. It removes the whole weed too.”

BAKE IT: Gardening enthusiasts have also praised baking soda for tackling weeds.

One man explained: ”What will then happen is the plants will absorb it, as they get damp when it starts to rain because they’re thirsty – because it’s been sunny. That’s nature’s way of killing it.”

WASH THIS: According to Sam Marlow, a gardening expert, washing powder is an affordable way to say goodbye to weeds.

He advised: “If you’re on a budget, there’s a cheap way to keep weeds at bay. If you want to remove persistent unwanted plants from paths or patios, try using washing powder. It’s a super easy way to banish weeds once and for all.”

Perfect for penny pinchers, the Aldi dupe costs just £14.99, £123 cheaper the Bosch original which will set you back £127.99.

The bonkers “corded bruschetter,” flips between an astonishing four functions.

Not only can it wipe away those pesky weeds with a hot air gun so powerful that it can also remove paint, but it also has a handy barbecue lighter and can varnish without the need for toxic chemicals.

The Aldi version is actually stronger than its more expensive competitor with a 2000 watt blast compared to Bosch’s meagre 950 watt capability.

Unlike the mowtown massacre of traditional chemical weed killers, you’ll finally win the war of the weeds with “no brown spots in your lawn” or horticultural “collateral damage.”

The Aldi offering even comes with five spare blades for when you inevitably drop one through a grate.
