DENVER (KDVR) — A very slow-moving system will arrive in Colorado, bringing rain to the lower elevations and snow to the high country in the Denver weather forecast.

Showers return to the forecast on Tuesday, mainly in an isolated to scattered fashion in the metro area through the morning before the showers become much more widespread by the afternoon.
The rain will likely turn heavy at times heading into the evening.
