In the video, the fan can be heard shouting "Play 'Pinball Wizard!' 'Pinball Wizard!' 'Pinball Wizard!'", to which Daltrey replies, "I'm fed up with that. Done it too much."
But the fan will not be deterred, shouting, "It’s not as good as Pinball Wizard!", to which Daltrey good-naturedly tells the fan to "shut the f**k up!" while laughing.
"I can't play 'Pinball Wizard.' I'm the world's worst pinball player you've ever seen in your life. I don’t want to do it, ’cause I just don’t want to do it."
The fan's final plea is: "I'm in my 60s and I need you to do it!", but finally the other concertgoers get the fan to quiet down so that Daltrey can finish playing "Days."
Daltrey also told Billboard at the start of the tour back in June 2024 that after all these years of doing the same thing, he just wants to get out there and "enjoy [him]self."
“I just want to branch out and do something different, where I’ve got different instrumentation and I can stop using tape loops. It just creates a whole new sound and allows me the freedom as a singer to put some other people’s songs in I’ve been fond of over the years. It’s gonna be quite interesting. I’m just determined to enjoy myself and explore the freedom I’ve got to do what I want to do on this tour, and let’s see where it ends up," said Daltrey.
