I love Baked by Melissa's viral Green Goddess Salad that's more dip than it is salad and of course, guacamole has a special place in my heart. And I recently came across another genius recipe that comes from a regal source. If creamy garlic dip and guacamole had a baby, it would be Duchess Meghan Markle's favorite green chile and avocado dip. Here's what you need to know about this stellar snack.
Munira Mahmud’s Green Chilli and Avocado Dip from Together: Our Community Cookbook, is reportedly a personal favorite of Markle's. She spearheaded the cookbook to help victims displaced by the tragic London Grenfell Tower Fire of 2017 and in the book's foreword, Markle calls out Mahmud's recipe as her "very favorite avocado dip that I now make at home."

And Mahmud's invention is a total stand-out for its bold, vibrant flavor. What makes it special is its balance of creamy avocado with the fiery kick of green chile, all brightened by a squeeze of lime and a handful of fresh herbs and tempered with creamy mayonnaise and yogurt. The result is a fresh, spicy, velvety and zesty dip that's as perfect on a chip or pita bread as it is on fish, meat, scrambled eggs and pizza.

How to Make Meghan Markle's Favorite Dip
In a food processor or blender, mix green chiles (jalapeños or serranos), cilantro, yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic and avocado until smooth. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Add in the mayonnaise and stir the mixture to fully incorporate. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve with your favorite dippers.
