Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag is single-handedly keeping his team in the hunt while chasing the target of 207 runs on the board against Kolkata Knight Riders. The right-hander walked out to bat at four and is playing one of his best innings in the league.
Riyan Parag's best came in Moeen Ali's over, which was the 13th over of the innings. After Shimron Hetmyer took a single on the first ball, the limelight was stolen by the Rajasthan Royals skipper, who then destroyed the Kolkata Knight Riders skipper with his brutal power hitting.
On the third ball, Moeen Ali bowled a shortish delivery wide outside off, to which Riyan Parag reached out and smashed it over long-on for another maximum. The next ball had the same outcome as the spinner bowled another slot delivery around the pads, and the batter hit it over deep backward square leg.
Riyan Parag then ensured that he hit six sixes in the six balls as the very next delivery of the next over that he faced went for a maximum. Varun Chakravarthy bowled a tossed delivery that was the full ball on off, the batter switched his stance and reverse hit it over deep backward point.

With this, he joined the elite list of batters hitting 5 sixes in an over in the IPL. Also, Riyan Parag became the first player to hit 6 sixes off 6 consecutive balls in IPL.
