Jalen Hurts was not part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House on Monday.
The former star quarterback at Alabama and Oklahoma was not part of the Super Bowl champion contingent in Washington, D.C.. Yamiche Alcindor of NBC News reported that the White House said Hurts and other Eagles players who were absent from the White House visit had “scheduling conflicts.”
A White House official confirms to me that @Eagles quarterback @JalenHurts will not be visiting the White House when the Super Bowl champions come later this afternoon. The White House says Hurts and other players who can’t attend had “scheduling conflicts.”

Hurts was sensational in winning the MVP, going 17 of 22 for 221 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, while also rushing 11 times for 72 yards and another TD.
Hurts was still in college, starring for the Crimson Tide when the Eagles won the Super Bowl in February of 2018, so he wasn’t a part of the team not going to the White House to celebrate that Super Bowl victory.
This time, 7 years later, the Eagles went to the White House but Hurts was not be there to celebrate with most of his teammates who decided to attend.
